OEG Offshore also provide customers with a duty holder helideck inspection report (CAP 437). This inspection complements our helideck friction testing, and both services can be carried out by our fully trained engineers, resulting in substantial savings in terms of bed space and flights.

We offer Helideck Surface Friction testing in accordance with UK CAA CAP 437, Chapter 3 recommendations. This testing is conducted on offshore installations, FPSO vessels, military vessels, and commercial yachts using an approved Micro Grip Tester meeting CAP 437 requirements. The data gathered is then incorporated into a comprehensive friction test report.

OEG Offshore provides theoretical and practical 'hands-on' Helicopter Refuelling System Awareness Training (HRSAT) offshore. Our training is based on extensive knowledge of worldwide offshore rules and regulations, including UK CAA CAP 437, Australian CASA, and APPEA. The primary focus of our training is to equip Helicopter Refuelling System operators with the competencies needed to manage routine system maintenance and Jet A-1 quality control to ensure the safe delivery of clean fuel to helicopters.

Our course content includes, but is not limited to:

• Helicopter refuelling system design, associated equipment, maintenance, setup, and operation.
• Storage, handling, and transportation of aviation fuel.
• Use of quality control equipment, fuel contamination prevention, and sample analysis.
• System certification and administration of CAP 437 quality control documents.
