Leading offshore Cargo Carrying and A60 module company OEG Offshore (OEG) announces the recent completion of a specialist workshop build project for a leading global technology solutions provider to the energy industry based in Houston, USA.
OEG Offshore Ltd's A60 module manufacturing facility in Dyce, Aberdeen has recently completed a specialist workshop module for FMC Technologies in Houston. The scope of work included the design and manufacture of a specialised offshore workshop module meeting the strict structural design standards of DNV 2.7-1/EN12079. The contract was won through an international co-operation between OEG offices to provide a bespoke manufactured solution to meet the customer's specific project requirements.

The specialist workshop module fitted with the very latest in air conditioning and workspace equipment is being utilised as part of FMC's Installation and Workover Control System (IWOCS), and is currently being deployed for the Hibernia project in Canada. The module has been designed to meet the harsh offshore environments associated with installation mobile drilling or production platforms.
