OCHL has made a series of appointments to strengthen the team within its new Singapore subsidiary.
John Aw has been appointed to the senior role of Regional Director of OEG Asia Pacific PTE Ltd, having joined the company directly from HB Rentals.
With more than ten years' experience in sales and marketing, John spent two years as Regional Sales Manager for HB Rentals' Asia Pacific region, and played an instrumental role in servicing and increasing the company's client base, working with customers based in Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei.
OCHL Chief Executive John Heiton said: “This is a great appointment for OCHL and John's experience and connections in the Asia Pacific region will provide a real boost to our international business opportunities. We are confident he and his team will play an influential role in establishing OCHL and its product lines in the Asia Pacific region, where we hope to establish a more prominent presence over the next three years.”
John Aw added: “I'm looking forward to working closely with the support of the team in Aberdeen and Singapore to deliver high quality standard and bespoke solutions to our customers in the Asia Pacific region.”
Supporting John in his role as Operations Director will be Daniel Lim and Selvi Tamil. Daniel, who has seven years' experience in the offshore containers industry, will be Operations Manager while Selvi, who has more than 15 years' experience in administration and sales co-ordination, will take on the role of General Manager.
