Aberdeen-based OEG Offshore (OEG) has been awarded a clutch of new rental and sale contracts worth around £100,000 ($140,000 USD) during the first quarter of 2010.
The Aberdeen-based firm – which specialises in the design, build and rental of cabins and cargo-carrying units for the offshore oil and gas market – will supply a variety of modules – on both a sale and hire basis – to clients including Schlumberger, Acergy, RBG, KCA Deutag and Expro.
Craig Russell, Commercial Director of OEG, said: “These recent contracts include a six month deal with Schlumberger to supply ten baskets and four containers for a project in the Mediterranean, as well as providing mudskips and half-height units for other international clients.
“OEG has an established reputation internationally of being able to respond quickly to customer requests, both in terms of cost effective solutions and delivery of our modules and this continues to be a key factor in us being awarded key contracts by significant operators in the oil and gas sector.
“Our ongoing international aspirations have resulted in the company expanding its global presence in recent times, meaning that we now have an extensive fleet of units on the ground across the globe, allowing us to reach our customers wherever they are in the world.
