Aberdeen-based oil services firm OEG Offshore Limited has strengthened its sales and marketing division following a recent key appointment.
Stephanie Sambrook, 24, has been appointed as Sales and Marketing Assistant to provide support to OEG Offshore's sales team and to implement a new marketing programme across the company. With her background in Advertising and Marketing, Stephanie previously worked for Aberdeen Convention Bureau assisting with business tourism activities and also spent time in the US and Costa Rica working on advertising projects.
Craig Russell, Group Commercial Director for OEG Offshore, said: “We would like to welcome Stephanie to OEG Offshore, and believe her skills and experience in the marketing sector will make her a valuable addition to the team.
“Stephanie previously worked with us on a temporary basis, and the skills and commitment that she demonstrated during that time convinced us to make the decision to appoint her on a permanent basis. The time that she spent working in advertising in the US and Costa Rica has also given her an insight into the international business market, which will greatly assist us in our expansion plans for OEG Offshore.
“OEG Offshore is currently undergoing a rapid period of growth as we expand our services on a worldwide basis, and it is important that we have a strong sales and marketing team to help communicate our services to current and prospective clients within the energy industry.
“Following the recent merger of Vertec Engineering and Containental Offshore to form OEG Offshore, we are in the process of communicating our rebranded services to the oil and gas sector, and Stephanie will assist us in creating a higher profile for the company.”
OEG Offshore specialises in the design, build, rental and sale of cabins and cargo carrying units for the worldwide offshore oil and gas market.
