Container and module supplier and manufacturer OEG Offshore has secured significant servicing contracts with two major oil operators, totalling in excess of £250,000.
The Aberdeen-based company has won a three year contract with Weatherford to service its fleet of A60 zoned cabins.
Meanwhile, fellow operator Baker Hughes has also renewed a three year contract with OEG to service its A60 units.
Ewan McLean, OEG’s service manager, said: “We are really pleased to be working with Baker Hughes and Weatherford on these contracts to ensure that their units are fit for purpose.
“We have over 25 years’ experience in the design, engineering and manufacture of specialist cabins and our expertise in servicing and preventative maintenance routines is what ensures repeat business from major industry players like Baker Hughes and Weatherford, as well as Technip and Schlumberger, who we also have ongoing working relationships with.”
Mr McLean continued: “We are committed to providing comprehensive, module maintenance support solutions, not just for our own units - which we provide servicing to when needed – but also for clients’ own containers. These solutions encompass everything from minor repairs and inspection procedures to full scale refurbishments. Regardless of whether cabins are onshore or offshore, OEG is dedicated to offering the full cabin life cycle support.
“The work we produce is of a consistently high standard, accounting for the loyalty shown by our customers, and ensuring safety conditions for personnel – particularly crucial for many of our projects where units are being used in hazardous environments. Our highly qualified team of technicians use their considerable hands-on experience to ensure compliance with offshore standards is met.”
OEG Offshore specialises in the design, build, rental, servicing and sale of cabins and cargo carrying units for the worldwide offshore oil and gas market.
