OEG Offshore, a leading specialist provider of cargo carrying units (CCUs) and A60 modules to the energy and mining industries announces the integration of its Darwin entity. Fuel Installation Services Pty Ltd (FIS) which also trades as Tank and Pump Services Pty Ltd. is being merged into OEG Offshore Pty Ltd.
The integration facilitates OEG Offshore's ability to offer an integrated and consistent product and service offering across Australia.
Dirk Alber, Regional Director OEG states: “It's a nostalgic time in my life as Fuel Installation Services was started up 30 years ago from humble beginnings by my father, Ossie Alber. Today marks the final stage of integration into a large and successful OEG Offshore group. I feel excited and energised with the diversity of services we can now offer here in Australia, not only in Darwin, but also from our other national and international facilities.
With the consolidation now complete since the acquisition of FIS by OEG in December 2012, we look forward to continuing to service our clients at a high standard and further enhancing our market foot print in the region.”
OEG Offshore continues to offer its wide range of DNV 2.7-1 containers, baskets, offshore tanks and services on a nationwide basis from bases located in Perth, Karratha, Broome, Darwin, Melbourne and Gippsland. Those services include bulk liquid transport, third party inspections, heli-deck audits (CAP 437) and specialist design, fabrication and rigging solutions.
Darwin's state-of-the-art facilities and large-scale capacity guarantee that customer bulk liquid transport needs are serviced efficiently, safely and cost-effectively. The focus is on quality and continual monitoring to ensure compliance with industry safety and environmental standards.
The integration was structured as a change of name and transfer of the business, trade and assets of FIS (ACN 05 193 2079) to OEG Offshore Pty Ltd (ABN 58 082 596 174) on 1st April 2016.
