For a second year OEG Offshore UK (OEG) is delighted to announce the donation of essential food and household items to charities and outreach programmes in Great Yarmouth.
The donation of more than £3,000 of groceries was delivered in a 6ft offshore mini container and has allowed charity partners in the region to distribute over three hundred food hampers with a range of non-perishable items such as canned goods, cereals, rice, pasta, snacks and toiletries to support people in crisis.
A group of OEG staff shopped locally for the goods with more colleagues helping to fill the container ready for delivery.
Clive Hoskisson, Managing Director of OEG Offshore UK Ltd said, “We are committed to supporting local community causes where we can have a positive impact and are delighted to provide even more food and household items this year to help improve the welfare of those in need in our areas of interests.”
This donation marks the latest in a series of initiatives from OEG Offshore UK to support local charities including the donation of hundreds of toys and games to the Cash for Kids Misson Christmas appeal to help families in crisis.
