OEG Offshore announces the recent successful transition to the revised ISO 9001:2015 standard awarded by DNV GL for their Aberdeen and Singapore facilities and LRQA for their Baku facility.
In the offshore oil & gas industry, achieving quality certifications is a vital part of earning customer trust, which continues to be at the very core of OEG's customer relationships.
Samantha Rattray, Group QHSE Manager, explains “To achieve our Quality Management System (QMS) status, we have implemented a customer-oriented philosophy of continuous business improvement and engaged proactively with our global supply chain. OEG is recognised for our robust global Quality Management Systems in place and by achieving this new level of certification, we continue to demonstrate the desire and ability to offer our customers the highest level of quality across the full range of our products and services.”
OEG strives to deliver the most innovative and forward-thinking solutions to the highest quality standards. The systems and procedures we have developed have not only been a benefit to our customers but have also helped to further enhance our senior management involvement. This has led to an increased understanding of requirements across all levels of the organisation.
There is no doubt that the continuous use of the ISO 9001 framework has resulted in increased efficiency, accurate decision making and higher levels of customer satisfaction. The upgraded certification comes as part of an ongoing leadership strategy for OEG, which will unify processes, procedures and systems to further underpin quality and efficiency throughout all levels of our business.
OEG takes customer satisfaction very seriously and prides ourselves on getting to know customers well, working collaboratively with them and focusing on practical results. As part of our QMS, we promote and encourage customer feedback and to date, our overall results have been excellent. We intend to continue to support our customers as an extension of their own business culture and focus on delivering a seamless integration to further improve costs and lead times.
Samantha continues; “It's a great achievement for OEG and huge thanks must go to our employees from all the facilities involved for their continued hard work and dedication to achieve the updated version of the ISO 9001 standard.”
As part of OEG's ongoing leadership strategy, the management teams in Aberdeen and Singapore are also working towards certification to ISO 45001:2018 the world's first Occupational Health and Safety international standard.
