A number of key appointments have been made to OCHL's sales team – led by highly experienced new group commercial director, Craig Russell.
Craig will oversee all commercial activities within the OCHL group and will also play a major role in growing the group's overseas' presence, particularly in the Gulf of Mexico and South East Asia.
He has more than 25 years' experience in the offshore modules, accommodation cabins and containers industry, and joined OCHL from Aberdeen-based, HB Rentals, where he had spent the last two years as the firm's regional sales and marketing director.
Prior to this, Craig was commercial director at Duffy and McGovern Accommodation Services in Dyce, where he worked alongside the firm's directors at the time, Craig McLeish and Stuart Mortimer, who this summer joined Vertec Engineering – a subsidiary of OCHL – as chairman and non-executive director respectively.
Under Craig's stewardship, are recent recruits Mark Slater, who has been appointed Sales Manager of Vertec and Angela Caldow, who has been appointed as Hires Controller for the company.
With seven years' oil and gas industry experience, Mark is looking forward to the challenge of helping establish the company as the number one worldwide supplier of well service control cabins, in terms of design and build, servicing and maintenance and rental.
Meanwhile, Angela, who has more than 18 year's industry experience, will be responsible for effectively delivering all service cabin hire work to an agreed budget and delivery timescale. She will also manage the mobilisation of hire assets to meet customer requirements, as well as seeking out new business opportunities.
Both Mark and Angela will work closely with Vertec's existing Sales Manager, Gavin Duncan, and Sales Engineer, Greg Davidson.
Meanwhile, joining Vertec's sister company, Containental Offshore recently have been Ann Broom and Laura Johnston – who have both been appointed as account managers with the company.
