In partnership with AIS an increased fleet of over 450 cargo carrying units, all to the internationally recognised DNV 2.7-1 standard, is available for immediate rental or sale with containers, baskets, waste skips, cuttings boxes, tanks, frames and cylinder racks available from the AIS branch network.
The expansion in fleet size comes as AIS secures a series of high value contracts from leading oil and gas operators and oilfield service companies in the region. Contract requirements include a wide variety of containers and drum baskets as well as tote tanks for offshore use.
Senior Vice President of OEG Offshore Inc. Lonnie Gray said, 'This recent investment will allow AIS to respond quickly to growing demand, as Latin America's oil majors continue to develop the region for exploration and production. Supported by one of the largest, most diverse and modern fleets in the region, AIS will continue to deliver a high-quality customer experience to the region.'
