OEG Offshore is looking for a dedicated person with attention to detail to maintain rental equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Repair CCU equipment to maintain OEG’s quality standards.
- Replace corrosion areas or damaged members of baskets and shipping containers.
- Repair door hinges and latches by cutting out old parts, fabricating new hinges and reinstallation of components.
- Operate arc gouging equipment.
- Demonstrate the proper use of hand tools, grinders, and welding equipment.
- Clean welds by grinding or chipping where required.
- Interpret drawings and welding symbols.
- Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 6 months of Forklift operating experience.
- Minimum 6 months of Overhead Crane experience.
- Previous 6GR welding experience to FCAW procedures.
- Understanding of Structural Fabrication along with repairing DNV assemblies.
- Mig welding.
- Fluxcore welding.
Qualifications
- 6G Certified
