Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with Supervisors to determine and prioritise workloads
- Preparation of electrical materials & equipment
- Installation/commissioning of non-hazardous and hazardous area electrical equipment
- On-going maintenance, testing, fault finding and repair of existing assets including completion of all associated paperwork
- Co-ordinate with other disciplines to ensure activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Provide progress updates to Supervisor/Team Lead on job status
- Carrying out offsite work/offshore work as required
- Participating in the management of HSE within own area of responsibility
- Delivering quality within own area of responsibility
- Liaising with clients, 3rd party inspectors and surveyors.

- Interpretation of electrical drawings
- A well organised individual with an ability to prioritise
- Excellent technical knowledge with proactive approach to problem solving experience
- Good at analysing situations and informing decision-makers of any potential blocks to effective project execution
- Effective team player, ability to work unsupervised and good communication skills
- Calm under pressure and effective in meeting deadlines.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience from the oil and gas industry, preferable but not essential
- Fully qualified Electrician through supporting body e.g: SQA, City & Guilds
- CompEx certified or country equivalent
- IEE Wiring Regulations or country equivalent.
