OEG Offshore Group is a privately owned group headquartered in Aberdeen, Scotland established in January 2010 as a result of the merger of Vertec Engineering and Containental Offshore to service the Offshore container and A60 module manufacturing needs of our customers and the Oil & Gas Industry worldwide.

OEG produce and deliver standard, specialised or customised products certified to DNV 2.7-1 / EN 12079 to any country around the globe. Our extensive hire fleet located at strategic bases allows immediate access for mobilisation to our customers – 24/7/365. OEG are currently operating in over 25 countries, with a team of over 100 staff operating from our main bases around the globe. 

OEG has developed and international reputation for quality, safety and providing cost effective solutions for our global customer base in all major oil and gas regions with operations in Europe, North America, West Africa, Asia Pacific and Australia.  

History and Timeline

1991   Containental Offshore founded in Aberdeen and establishes Offshore Container rental business
2002   Containental expands fleet through far east cooperation
2007   Agent appointed in USA
2008   Agent appointed in the Netherlands
2008   Private Investor group aquires a majority share of Containental
2009   New office opened in Singapore to support our increasing customer base in region
2009   Containental aquires Vertec Engineering and Labtech rental division
2009   Management team expended to support growth plans
2010   New Sales and Rental office opened in Australia to provide full product range offering
2010   Houston office established to meet increased demands from customers in Gulf of Mexico
2010   New strategic agents appointed in Denmark and Darwin
2010   Merger of Vertec and Containental and corporate rebranding to OEG Offshore Group
2011   Chief Financial Officer joins team to support growth strategy
2011   Agent network expansion into Argentina and Brunei
2011   Established strategic cooperation for full product range in Nigeria
2012    Expansion of Agent network to meet demand of customers in Indonesia 
2012   OEG Offshore acquire new Trash Compactor product range
2012    Increase of Global fleet with acquisition of units in Trinidad
2012   OEG Offshore Acquires Tank and Pump services in Darwin to expand customer offering
2013   OEG Offshore Acquires OPC in Melbourne to further expand regional services
